Broken Token 1

Part of a series based on the traditional 'Broken Token' folk songs, in which parting lovers are said to break a ring in two, each half being kept by one individual and their soul mate. At their reunion, they produce their half as a proof of their trueness, love and fidelity.

All art relief prints are my own design and are handmade, so each is unique to you. Expect little variations in texture and some distinctive impressions within each handprinted limited edition. My process isn't high tech. Designs are created on my living room table by hand with a wooden baren and the back of a soup spoon. Every piece is numbered, titled and signed on white paper. Prints are mailed flat in protected packaging for safe delivery.

The print comes with a white mount so it will fit into a standard 7 inch by 9 inch frame. Printed area is approximately 5.5 inches by 4 inches.
